Overview
My research is in operator algebras. In particular, I study C*-algebras arising from groups. I am interested in better describing the topology of the unitary dual of a group G and investigating the C*-rigidity of Bieberbach groups.
The topic of my dissertation was the connectivity of Bieberbach groups. Connectivity is a lifting property isolated by Dadarlat and Pennig in 2016 which they showed to be equivalent to the unsuspension of E-theory. Dadarlat and I showed that a Bieberbach group is connective if and only if it is poly-Z.
